The following blog post is the fifth in our journey through the special edition of RE-AIM in the Frontiers in Public Health special issue! The article titled “Pragmatic Application of the RE-AIM Framework to Evaluate the Implementation of Tobacco Cessation Programs Within NCI-Designated Cancer Centers” written by D’Angelo et al. took a fresh approach on the examing of the pragmatic application of RE-AIM on tobacco cessation treatment programs funded by the National Cancer Institute. This article gives a clear look into the dimensions of RE-AIM and the methodology behind how RE-AIM was used to evaluate each program.
