The following blog post is the seventh in our journey through the special edition of RE-AIM in the Frontiers in Public Health special issue! The article titled “Re-thinking Physical Activity Programs for Older Brazilians and the Role of Public Health Centers: A Randomized Controlled Trial Using the RE-AIM Model” written by Benedetti et al., show the use of the majority of the dimensions of RE-AIM in the exploration of public health centers delivery of physical activity interventions. This manuscript provides an exemplary example of reporting true Reach (representativeness) and adoption giving attention to the barriers faced on intervention implementation.
