For this month’s update, the RE-AIM workgroup wants to bring to attention a recent publication that utilized the PRISM framework in addition to components of RE-AIM. Conducted by McCreight et al., this study qualitatively identified and assessed the planning, implementation, evaluation, and dissemination within four health services interventions in the Veterans health administration setting. Results point to the need to engage key stakeholders, assess how the interventions “fits” in the targeted system, and the need to adjust/adapt are key for the success of dissemination and implementation efforts.
