The following blog post is the tenth in our journey through the special edition of RE-AIM in the Frontiers in Public Health special issue! The article titled “Evaluating “Implementation and Sustainability of a Pharmacy-Led, Hospital-Wide Bedside Medication Delivery Program: A Qualitative Process Evaluation Using RE-AIM” written by Prusaczyk et al. (2020), shows the use of RE-AIM in a qualitative study using semi-structured interviews in a clinical setting. This is a unique publication that shows the use of RE-AIM in a qualitative form that highlights the difficulty of implementing in an environment that focuses on “rapidly achieving improvement”.
