Global Health Webinar: Applying RE-AIM in Low- and Middle-Income Country Settings

December 12th, 2018 –”Global Health Webinar: Applying RE-AIM in Low- and Middle-Income Country Settings”

Many dissemination and implementation (D&I) science frameworks have been developed and applied primarily in high-
income country settings. At the same time, the field of D&I science is particularly relevant for low- and middle-income countries where there is an immense divide between what is known and what is implemented.

This Webinar will provide an overview of the RE-AIM (Reach, Effectiveness, Adoption, Implementation and Maintenance)
framework which was developed with the aim of improving the public health relevance and population health impact of
interventions. Dr. Russell Glasgow will provide an overview of RE-AIM and will share lessons learned from two decades of
its application. Dr. Meredith Fort will provide an example of its application in a current NHLBI-supported hypertension
control project in Guatemala.
