June 6, 2016 – Dr. Paul Estabrooks, the Harold M. Maurer Distinguished Chair of Health Promotion, Social, & Behavioral Health in the College of Public Health at University of Nebraska Medical Center gave a talk at the American College of Sports Medicine Conference in Boston, MA entitled “Adapting the RE-AIM framework for the Pragmatic Evaluation of Exercise is Medicine.” This talk described how to use RE-AIM when evaluating the implementation of Exercise is Medicine initiative, giving both standard and expanded evaluation recommendations for each metric. This talk included new examples of each metric from published research studies and discussed the creation of a single pragmatic metric for evaluation
