RE-AIM Publications by Year

Oct. 3, 2013 – Welcome to RE-AIM.org!

Glasgow, Vogt and Boles published the first paper on RE-AIM in the American Journal of Public Health in 1999. While the dimensions have remained the same, the model has evolved to capture a lot of the complexities of understanding individual, environmental and policy interventions across a wide range of settings (e.g., healthcare, work-sites, schools, and communities). Since 1999 the original RE-AIM publication has been cited over 1000 times and has been the planning and/or evaluation basis for over 200 studies. Below, we’ve graphed the number of these 200 papers by the year they were published (up until September 2013). Make sure to check out the resources section on the website to search for RE-AIM paper’s and don’t forget to send along any citations we might be missing!
