April 28, 2015 –

Welcome to RE-AIM.org!

On April 22, Dr. James Fauth of Antioch University New England, presented “Development and pilot testing of a new tool to assess the RE-AIM characteristics of community health interventions.” Jim directs the Center for Research on Psychological Practice (CROPP), which works shoulder to shoulder with stakeholders to evaluate and improve community based behavioral and community health practice and training students for applied, community-based research and quality improvement roles.
The RE-AIM talk covered the conceptualization of an evaluation framework in response to an initiative for a healthy community, the need to report against multiple indicators and multiple projects, and the need to report these indicators to a variety of stakeholders across the community. This work is currently undergoing pilot testing and next steps were discussed in the talk. Listen in below for more details. Two additional resources: Slides for the presentation can be found here and here is the link to the intensity scoring paper by Collie-Akers.
